Animal Crossing: New Horizons

A dream come true? The Dream Suite might be coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is possibly the most talked-about game on the Nintendo Switch this year. With its large following, it doesn’t come as a surprise that there are plenty of dataminers looking into possible new features that could be introduced.

Dataminer Ninji has reason to believe that the Dream Suite could be making an appearance in a future update. The Dream Suite is a feature in Animal Crossing: New Leaf which allows players to create their own “dream world” and visit other people’s towns in a dream. It is run by Luna, a tapir who also made her debut in New Leaf.

Initial evidence of this possible return came from “DreamID” which was found in version 1.0.0 of the New Horizons save file. This was then followed up with “ActorNetDreamLand” which was found in the recent 1.2.0 update.

A full explanation of Ninji’s findings can be found here:

Previous features from New Leaf have returned in the recent update. These include Redd’s art shop and museum expansion, as well as Leif with bushes and shrubs. These updates show that Nintendo isn’t shy about bringing back old beloved features, however, that does not mean the Dream Suite is definitely returning.

What do you think? Will you be excited to jump back into a new and improved Dream World?
