Sludge Life mixes lo-fi aesthetics, vandalism, and drug-use all in one M-rated package coming to the Switch.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to vandalize without any sort of repercussions? If you answered “yes” then High Hell developer Doseone and Terri Vellmann and famed publisher Devolver Digital has you covered with their upcoming first-person adventure, Sludge Life.
Take a stroll through the open-world island, smoking cigarettes, and coating the walls in your ghostly mark. Not only are there three endings, but there’s also “pretty robust credits” and a dedicated fart button for those interested to spam the heck out of it.
The story is still wrapped in mystery, but what does that matter? Here’s the description taken from the Sludge Life trailer.
“Roam a tiny island stuck on a sludge covered planet as upcoming tagger GHOST, a breezy bandit set on staking their claim amongst the graffiti elite. Traverse the corporately branded landscape, link up with other taggers, and steal junk and hearts along the way. Will you become the king of the island and tag every open inch, infiltrate sludge-pumping corporation GLUG, or just take it all down in flames with you?”
If its Epic Games Store page is anything to go by, Sludge Life is hitting the digital storefronts April 6, 2020. That said, it’s not clear if this is just the date for the EGS release or it will coincide with its Switch release date.
Are you excited for Sludge Life? Do you have any plans on picking it up when it drops this spring?
