Games Done Quick has announced CRDQ 2020 and have delayed their summer event.

Games Done Quick has announced that it will be hosting an online speedrunning marathon benefiting those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. Corona Relief Done Quick (CRDQ) will be an online-only event taking place on April 17-19 2020. The event will be streamed live on its official Twitch.

GDQ is known for the variety of speedrunners and games being showcased at the event. Nintendo is always a prevalent brand during the marathons, so we’ll probably see a fair few Mario and Zelda runs. All donations will go toward Direct Relief, a humanitarian aid organization with a mission to help those in need.

Summer Games Done Quick 2020 (SGDQ) has also been delayed due to increasing concerns surrounding the coronavirus. The event will instead take place on August 16, 2020, through to the 23. Games Done Quick has confirmed that they’ll monitor the situation and respond accordingly.
