Nintendo of America employee tests positive for Cornavirus

A Nintendo of America staffer has tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Recently, Nintendo of America followed other major companies, such as Microsoft, Twitter, Google, and more with making its employees work from home. This being to lessen the chance of Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading further. It seems this was only partially effective, though.

It appears a Nintendo staffer has tested positive for the virus, which was found in Wuhan. Per the Seattle Times, all employees who have come in contact with them have begun self-quarantine. It doesn’t matter if they show signs of the virus or not. The reason behind that being that it can spread if symptoms are visible or not.

Nintendo made a statement in which they claim to be supporting the unnamed affected employee and are continuing to put the safety and health of their employees.

“Nintendo of America is supporting this individual as they recover and will continue to take precautions to safeguard the health and well-being of all our employees and the broader community.”

The precaution to allow remote work isn’t too shocking. Nintendo’s US offices are in Washington and California. Both states are being hit hard with the virus.

Absolutely loves Pokémon and sought to write about it and Nintendo as a whole. After coming to the final decision... he decided to just start one himself all the while contributing to many other publications.
