Nintendo has revealed the most-downloaded games on the Nintendo eShop for the month of April.

Nintendo has revealed the most-downloaded Nintendo Switch games in April 2020 for Europe. Of course, Animal Crossing: New Horizons tops the Nintendo eShop charts with other major Nintendo games also being included. It is also nice to see a bunch of third-party titles also making an appearance.

Full Nintendo eShop list:

  1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
  2. Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle
  3. Just Dance 2020
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  5. Monopoly for Nintendo Switch
  6. Spyro Reignited Trilogy
  7. Minecraft
  8. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy
  9. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  10. Bastion
  11. Thief Simulator
  12. UNO
  13. Pocket Mini Golf
  14. Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition
  15. Unravel Two

Downloading games from the eShop has been especially popular during the COVID-19 pandemic. With users being unable to visit stores, purchasing games and downloading them is a lot more convenient. There is a lot to choose from on the Nintendo eShop and Animal Crossing: New Horizons will probably stay at the top for quite some time.

The remainder of May will be interesting for the Switch, with the likes of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Borderlands: Legendary Collection, Bioshock: The Collection and XCOM 2 all launching on the same day on May 29.

Did you download any games from the eShop last month? Let us know in the comments down below!
