Path of Giants is coming to the Switch this month.
Looking for a new puzzle game to jam onto your Switch? If that’s the case, you may be interested in Path of Giants. Launching later this month, the game will be a meager 283 MB, making it a fairly small pick up.
The game itself is a single-player adventure with the player controlling three travelers, Bern, Matchi, and Totch. In the game, your goal is to steer them to treasure even if it means traversing snow-covered paths and icy hills. Even though the game is single-player, teamwork is key and you’ll see that as you need to swap between explorers to solve the 80+ puzzles that await.
The game itself looks pleasant to look at and those who’ve played it on other platforms have certainly enjoyed it with a positive outlook. The game initially launched on mobile devices back in August and a subsequent Steam launch earlier this year. The Switch, however, has been rather welcoming to new developers, especially when their games fit so perfectly with what its console can do.
Path of Giants launched as the debut of Journey Bound Games, a married couple with a deep passion for the art. Despite its new entry to the game dev and publishing side, their game garnered acclaim, even becoming an official selection for the MAGFest Indie Showcase.
If you’re looking for a game to kill some time, this may do just that. Path of Giants is coming to the Switch on April 14 for $8.99.
