Pokémon Sword and Shield

Pokémon Sword and Shield mythical Pokémon, Zarude, has been revealed.

The Pokémon Company International has announced the signature move for the mythical Pokémon, Zarude. Zarude is a Dark and Grass-type in Pokémon Sword and Shield that grows vines from the back of its neck, wrists and the soles of its feet at will.

Jungle Healing is obtained when Zarude reaches level 90 and it’s the only Pokémon that can learn it. This Grass status move wraps vines around trees, absorbing their energy to restore Zarude’s and its ally Pokémon’s HP. It also removes any status conditions such as paralysis.

Zarude is only obtainable in Pokémon Sword and Shield and cannot be encountered in the game by normal means. The mythical Pokémon kind of looks like a gremlin from the movie of the same name. It is possible that Zarude will be distributed through some kind of online mystery gift. However, with the upcoming launch of the DLC, it is possible that we may see its inclusion in the expansion pass.
