Atomicrops is coming to the Switch this May.
Publisher Raw Fury has revealed via YouTube that Atomicrops, an “action roguelike farming simulator,” will be available on the Switch eShop next month. The game has been playable in early access via the Epic Games Store since September 2019 but comes to consoles and PC next month as a finished, 1.0 product.
Raw Fury describes the title colorfully:
“Armed with your hoe, a watering pail, and a fully automatic weapon, you must grow ultra-GMO crops to feed the local town… and make a hefty profit. Defend your land from the mutant pests and bandits that invade nightly to ravage your fields. Court and wed townsfolk to fight and farm by your side. Gather upgrades to increase yields, profit, and power. Befriend the local wildlife to help with the chores.”
It sounds – and looks – like a lot of fun.

It has also been confirmed that all updates and fixes brought to Atomicrops whilst in early access will launch alongside the core title on console, which includes a significant update that gives players ten difficulty tiers as well as a wider range of power-ups. Developer Bird Bath received respectable reviews for the game’s early-release version. Atomicrops is hitting the Switch May 28.
