Skating fans will seemingly have their prayers answered as Skater XL skates to the scene this July.
After many, many years of anticipation for a traditional skateboarding game in the vein of classics such as Tony Hawk Pro Skater or the Skate games, it seems that skateboarding game fans have had their prayers answered. How? With the upcoming skater game, Skater XL, from Easy Day Studios.
The game was revealed in 2019 and was launched to Steam in early access for $19.99 for players who wished to experience the game months before its official release date which was announced today via the game’s official Twitter page.
The game itself gained positive feedback from the people who got their hands on the early access with 84% of the reviews on Steam being positive regarding the title. This latest trailer shows off the skater traversing through large domains of Los Angeles.
The game looks quite vague as to how the overall product will end up, with a lot still remaining up in the air in regards to how different or indifferent the game will be from its early access state. Skater XL is due to release for all platforms, including Nintendo Switch in July 2020.
Are you excited to see where Skater XL goes? Are you going to pick it up when it releases?
