TY the Tasmanian Tiger HD got a new Switch trailer.
Australia-based Krome Studios has dropped a brand-new trailer for their upcoming TY the Tasmanian Tiger HD. Coming to the Switch, the trailer showed off a myriad of features in its short 2-minute runtime.
It turns out you’ll be able to explore the Outback with boomerangs in hand. A brand-new mode has been added to the mix, too, known as Hardcore mode. Motion controls will be available, too. Oh and for all you folks out there that love skins, there will also be selectable skins.
Fans will also be happy to hear they don’t have much longer to wait before they can get their hands on a copy as it’s coming to the Switch later this month.
TY the Tasmanian Tiger has been around for quite a while, with his debut appearance being in 2002 on the GameCube. The studio then went about releasing three sequels. With this HD remaster, this Aussie mascot is going to be brought to a new audience of gamers.
The team couldn’t do it alone, though, so they reached out to the community back in 2019 to help fund the project via Kickstarter. Sure enough, it gained traction and they more than doubled the amount they asked for, garnering a whopping $135,000 of their $50,000 goal.
Currently, Krome Studios has set TY the Tasmanian Tiger HD release date to March 31, 2020.
Are you excited for the remaster? Have you played the original?
