Wii Sports is being resold at a higher price.
Wii Sports has seen a resurgence in popularity. According to Esuteru (via Nintendo Soup), the past month has seen resale prices increase from $10 USD to somewhere between $25 and $26. It seems like people are looking for another way to keep fit during the quarantine.
The report also included a chart in its report, which showcases the spike in sales.
This isn’t a surprise as the cost of Nintendo Switch consoles and Ring Fit Adventure has also dramatically increased. These titles are effective for providing some kind of exercise in the comfort of your own home.
Wii Sports launched in 2006 as a launch title for the Nintendo Wii. It was easily a system seller for a majority of people, as Nintendo struck gold in the casual gaming market. Consumers who weren’t considered gamers were buying into Nintendo’s new system.
